If your files do not fall in these categories, then there may be additional charges to attempt to process your files. We may not be able to process your files, and will only delay your project.
BLEEDS:
We need a 1/8-inch bleed on everything that will need to be printed. If you need a template, we can supply you one that will display the exact bleed area. If no bleed is received then we can attempt to trim your product, however, WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE for the outcome.
COLOR MODES
If you do not work in CMYK, then you need to make sure you make the conversion. The print process uses CMYK so there must be a conversion of your files to CMYK. If we receive your file in RGB we must convert it and cannot be responsible for the outcome.
DPI
Your files should be at least 300 DPI.
Please do not take lower resolution files and convert them to 300DPI. The quality will not be greater.
LAYERS
If possible send your files with multiple layers. Sometimes we have to make fine adjustments to your files to get the desired effect you were looking for. Having multiple layers just makes life easier. But on the same token, combine and organize layers so there is no confusion.
PROCESSING YOUR FILES:
Your printing project includes processing your files for printing ONE TIME. If you want to submit a new file for any reason, there will be AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Our prepress rates are $85.00 per hour.
PROOFS:
If requested, a PDF emailed proof will be furnished. The proof is mainly for final spelling, bleeds, cropping and layout purposes. If you would like to proof the colors, we suggest a hard copy proof. There is an additional charge for these proofs. Our hard copy proofs are 90% color accurate to the final printed product. Under NO circumstances can we match, to a furnished color laser proof.
